Becoming a member of the tennis team is one of the best decisions you will make during high
school. Tennis is open to everyone—it doesn’t matter what grade you’re in or how long you’ve
played. Every year we have students come out who have never stepped onto the court before. It
doesn’t matter! 

Individuals who enjoy competitions, want to have fun, and can afford to miss a few days of school
should check with Coach Short for more information.

Practices for girls begin in early August, and boys begin in March. If you are interested in playing,
then your first priority is to convince your friends to play with you! Second, contact Coach Short.
Third, get that physical! It is imperative that everyone, not just newcomers, plays on a regular basis
during the summer and throughout the school year. Give tennis a shot! See you on the
