• Cap & Gown and announcements Should be ordered online with Jostens.com before winter break. If you need a packet, stop by the Counseling Office or Main office.
• Senior Tributes for the yearbook are due no later than Tuesday, December 16th. Complete information and form can be found at our website under senior Information on the home page.
• Are you a senior that speaks more than 1 language? If so, you may be able to earn the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy (SOBL). Students that earn the SOBL will receive a certificate, a medal to wear at graduation, and up to 18 hours of college credit. There are 3 requirements to earn the SOBL: 1. ACT Reading or English score of 18 or higher, an English II EOC score of Proficient or Advanced, or ACCESS for ELLs that is 4.0 or higher. 2. Write a short essay explaining how your second language has shaped your life. 3. Demonstrate proficiency in another language by taking the STAMP test in the library on February 3rd and 4th. • Archery will meet this week on Monday and Wednesday in the upper gym, 6:00-8:00 pm.
• Bowling Team: Students interested in being a part of the bowling team 2nd semester, there will be an informational meeting today at 3:30 p.m. at Andy B’s on Battlefield. The season will start in January and practices will be held on Mondays & Thursdays after school at Andy B’s. If you’re not able to make the meeting, contact Coach Phillips at bluesfan29@att.net for more information.
• Girls Soccer: Girls interested in playing soccer this spring, there will be a brief meeting in room 135 after school on tomorrow.
• Students! Please check your ID Badge!! If you purchased the athletic pass or the activity pass you should have a green or red stadium icon. If you do not have the icon and you have paid, you will need to get your ID reprinted. You must have this icon on your ID badge when you go to a game in order to get in without paying. If you need a reprint, stop by the Main Office and see Ms. Bricker to get this taken care of.Kickapoo U
• Volunteer Hours accrued for November must be turned in through Canvas no later than December 31. They will not be accepted late! Students are expected to turn in their hours as soon as they finish them.Club Meetings
• eSports will meet every day after school in room 229 from 3:30 to 4:30.
• FCA will meet every Monday morning in the PAC at 7:30 a.m. You do not need to be an athlete to join and participate. FCA is open to all students.
• Democracy in Action will meet Tuesday before school at 7:30 am & after school in room 223.
• RPG will meet every Tuesday after school in room 218! All are welcome
• Robotics meets every Tuesday & Thursday after school in room 136!
• Woodworking Club meets every Tuesday & Thursday after school in room 134.
• FCCLA meets every Wednesday after school in room 105.
• GSA meets every Wednesday after school in room 116 until 4:00 pm. Join us and meet other students in a safe and inclusive environment.
• Science Olympiad will meet every Wednesday after school in room S101.
