  • Judy Brunner

    President

    Judy Brunner holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She has a Master's Degree in Reading and a Specialist in Education Degree.  She is the Chief Education Officer of Edu-Safe LLC and Instructional Solutions Group LLC.

    Elected to the board in 2023, her current term expires in 2026.



  • Danielle Kincaid

    Vice President

    Danielle Kincaid received her Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law and her master and bachelor degrees from Missouri State University. Danielle is currently a partner with the Elder Law Group.

    Elected to the board in 2021, her current term expires in 2027.

  • Sarah HoughSarah Hough received her bachelor's degree in English from Missouri State University. She is a senior HR manager at Bass Pro Shops and serves on the boards of several non-profits including Care to Learn, Springfield Innovation, Inc. and the City Utilities Citizens' Advisory Board. She has two children attending Springfield Public Schools.

    Elected to the board in 2025, her current term expires in 2028.


  • Maryam MohammadkhaniDr. Maryam Mohammadkhani is a retired pathologist.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California Irvine, and her Medical Doctoral degree from University of Southern California School of Medicine.  She trained and practiced in the Harvard medical system in Boston before joining Cox Health in 2001.  

    Elected to the board in 2021, her current term expires in 2027.



  • Susan Provance

    Susan Provance holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Tulsa.  She also has a Master's in Physical Education from Drury University. Susan's career in education as a teacher and coach spanned from 1975 to 2005.  Additionally, she served as athletic administrator for the Springfield-Greene County Park Board from 2006-2018.

    Elected to the board in 2024, her current term expires in 2027.


  • Gail SmartGail Smart received her undergraduate and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Arkansas. She was director of the Well of Life Food Pantry, co-chair of the Poverty Commission and is on the Community Foundation of the Ozarks Board.

    Elected to the board in 2025, her current term expires in 2028.


  • ShuritaDr. Shurita Thomas-Tate is an associate professor at Missouri State University.  She is a member of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department.  

    Thomas-Tate obtained her bachelor's degree in speech language pathology from Southern University in Louisiana and master's and doctorate in speech language pathology from Ohio State University.

    Elected to the board in 2020, her current term expires in 2026.
