Welcome to the Wilder Parent Teacher Association!
Our mission is to create the best possible school environment so our children can learn and grow. We are glad you are here and hope you will be actively involved in our school!
Here are just a few ways that the Wilder PTA helps our children:
- Volunteers - We encourage our Wilder parents and guardians to get involved. You are always needed and wanted at Wilder, whether it be in your child’s classroom or one of our committees. The more parents we can involve, the better our school becomes for our children.
- Resources - We raise money in various ways to provide tools and services that are not covered by the school. For example, we provide funding for buses so that each class can go on field trips without parents covering the transportation costs, as well as funds to each teacher for books and other supplies.
- Events – We host activities and events throughout the year such as Open House, Fall Fun Fest, Chat ‘n Chew, Field Day, Rainbow Rush, Wilder Dudes, Book Fair, and Wilder’s Got Talent. Our students look forward to these events each year!
- Service – We help foster a sense of community service in our students through our Sharing is Caring program, providing food and clothing items to help those in need.
As the PTA, we are key in coordinating efforts between our children, teachers, staff and each other. The work of the Wilder PTA benefits every child in our school. When you join the PTA, you are part of that work. We are glad you are here, and we look forward to partnering with you!
